Oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ tat savitur vareṇyaṃ bhargo devasya dhīmahi dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt
“We meditate on the radiance of that supreme luminosity. May it kindle our intellect.”
Vasudeva-sutaṃ devaṃ kaṃsa-cāṇūra-mardanam
“I bow to the son of Vasudeva — joy of Devakī, teacher of the world.”
Śrīgaṇeśāya vidmahe vākratuṇḍāya dhīmahi | Tanno dantiḥ prachodayāt
“This mantra invokes Gaṇeśa, the remover of obstacles, to guide and inspire the chanter with wisdom and intellect, seeking his blessings for spiritual growth and success.”
śrī mahālākṣmyai ca vidmahe vāsudevāya dhīmahi tan no lakṣmī pracodayāt. oṃ śrīṃ hrīṃ klīṃ śrīṃ kuberāya namaḥ
“This mantra invokes the blessings of Kubera, the lord of wealth, and Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity, to bring fortune and abundance into one's life. It is chanted for the accumulation of wealth and financial success.”
Yā devī sarva-bhūteṣu śakti-rūpeṇa saṃsthitā
“To Her who dwells in all beings as power itself — salutations again and again.”
Oṃ saha nāvavatu, saha nau bhunaktu
“May we be protected together. May we be nourished together. May we work in harmony.”
Śāntākāraṃ bhujaga-śayanaṃ padmanābhaṃ sureśam
“Peaceful in form, reclining on the serpent, lotus-naveled, lord of the divine.”
Oṃ śrīṃ hrīṃ śrīṃ kamale kamalālaye prasīda
“Invocation of abundance — material and inward — through the lotus-dweller.”
