Begin by cleansing the body and mind with a sacramental bath, signifying the intention to dedicate the next 24 hours to spiritual growth and inner reflection.

Step 2Morning Worship

Offer prayers, candles, and tulasi leaves to the deity, invoking divine presence and guidance throughout the observance, acknowledging the divine in all aspects of life.

Step 3Fasting and Reflection

Refrain from eating grains and worldly activities, focusing instead on spiritual reading, japa, or meditation, to cultivate self-control, detachment, and heightened awareness.

Step 4Evening Kirtan and Satsang

Gather with like-minded individuals for devotional singing, story-telling, and discussions on spiritual topics, fostering a sense of community and shared pursuit of enlightenment.

Step 5Night Vigil

Maintain a nocturnal vigil, either through wakeful contemplation or sleepless meditation, emulating the example of the divine, which remains ever-vigilant and omnipresent.

Step 6Breaking the Fast

After sunrise the next day, break the fast with a simple, sanctified meal, marking the successful completion of the Ekādaśī observance and the renewal of one's spiritual resolves.
