Step 2Mandapa preparation

A ritual canopy or mandapa is erected and adorned with sacred flowers, leaves, and other auspicious items to create a sanctified space for the ceremony.

Step 3Kalasha establishment

The kalasha is filled with gangajala, adorned with tulasi leaves, and established as a symbol of the divine, connecting the ritual to the cosmic forces and the natural world.

Step 4Abhiṣeka

The consecration is performed by pouring the sacred water from the kalasha over the object, person, or structure being consecrated, symbolizing spiritual rebirth and the infusion of divine energy.
