Step 2Bathing the Shiva Linga

Perform Abhisheka by pouring water over the Shiva Linga, symbolizing the purification of the soul and the washing away of past sins, rejuvenating the spirit.

Step 3Offering Vilva leaves

Offer Vilva leaves to Lord Shiva, which are believed to be dear to Him, representing the devotion and faith of the practitioner, and expressing gratitude for His blessings.

Step 4Reciting Shiva Mantras

Chant sacred mantras like the Panchakshari Mantra ('Om Namah Shivaya') and the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, invoking Lord Shiva's divine presence and seeking protection from the cycle of birth and death.
