Establish the kalasha by filling it with Ganga jal, adding akshata, and placing dhurva grass around it to symbolize the universe and invoke the divine feminine.

Step 2Añjali Mudrā

Offer añjali mudrā, a gesture of reverence, to the kalasha, recognizing the divine presence within and without.

Step 3Kalasha Pūjā

Perform pūjā to the kalasha, applying kumkum and offering prayers to awaken the energy of the divine feminine and seek her blessings.

Step 4Navāvaraṇa Pūjā

Invoke the nine forms of the goddess, offering prayers and worship to each, recognizing the various aspects of the divine feminine and seeking their guidance and protection.
