Purify the hands and body by sipping water from the right hand and touching the various parts of the body to cleanse and prepare for worship.

Step 2Dhyāna and Deity Invocation

Meditate on the chosen deity, focusing on their divine attributes, and invoke them with a heartfelt prayer to dwell within the space of worship.

Step 3Pūjā with offerings

Make offerings such as flowers, scented water, dūrvā grass, and akṣatā to the deity, acknowledging their presence and expressing devotion and gratitude.

Step 4Ārati and Nāma-Japa

Perform ārati with the ghee lamp to symbolize the removal of ignorance and chant the deity's names to deepen connection and understanding of their divine essence.
