Establish the deity by placing the Rāma mūrti or image on a clean altar, invoking the divine presence to reside within it for the duration of the pūjā.

Step 2Ācamanam

Purify the hands and mouth by sipping and sprinkling water, to cleanse the body and mind before beginning the ritual, ensuring a pure and respectful approach to worship.

Step 3Arghya Pradānam

Offer water to Lord Rāma as a symbol of reverence and respect, signifying the washing away of impurities and the cultivation of a pure heart and mind.

Step 4Naivedyam

Present an offering of fruits and other edible items, symbolizing the surrender of worldly attachments and the expression of gratitude for the blessings received from the divine.
