सुखासीनं ततस् तं तु विश्रान्तम् उपलक्ष्य च अथापृच्छद् ऋषिस् तत्र कश् चित् प्रस्तावयन् कथाः
sukhāsīnaṃ tatas taṃ tu viśrāntam upalakṣya ca athāpṛcchad ṛṣis tatra kaś cit prastāvayan kathāḥ
“Bowing humbly, Sauti greeted the assembled Brahmarshis, who welcomed him and asked whence he had come and where he had spent his time; accomplished in speech, he answered them fittingly. (trans. K.M. Ganguli)”
