तद्विष्णोः परमं पवित्रम् ।

Advaita Vedānta(Ādi Śaṅkarācārya)

Advaita Vedānta (Ādi Śaṅkarācārya): This verse, 'tad viṣṇoḥ paramaṃ pavitraṃ,' underscores the ultimate reality of Brahman as the essence of Vishnu, thus pointing to the non-dual nature of reality. Shankara's commentary on the Kenopaniṣad emphasizes that Brahman, the absolute, is beyond all attributes and dualities. In his commentary on the Brahmasutra, Shankara clarifies that the personal gods like Vishnu are manifestations of Brahman.
