ययातिं शुभकर्माणं देवैर् यो याजितः स्वयम् चैत्ययूपाङ्किता भूमिर् यस्येयं सवनाकरा
yayātiṃ śubhakarmāṇaṃ devair yo yājitaḥ svayam caityayūpāṅkitā bhūmir yasyeyaṃ savanākarā
“Sanjaya reminds Dhritarashtra of the greatly powerful men of vast exertions spoken of by Vyasa and the wise Narada, born of great royal families and versed in celestial arms, who conquered the world by justice and performed sacrifices and at last succumbed to the sway of time; twenty-four such Rajas were formerly recounted by Narada to Saivya when he was afflicted for the loss of his children.
